Old World Ironworks began as two friends tinkering around with making knives in the backyard. Over the last six years, it has grown and changed into something a lot more serious,(but still fun) than it was when it began. The focus now is bringing traditional blade designs from history into the modern world. Combining the time-tested designs from the knife-using cultures of history, with modern technology to create quality reproductions, as well as completely unique designs, has become Old World Ironworks signature.
Now the team consists of it's two founding members, Jean Morin and Shannon "Bear" Cothran, as well as their apprentice Alexander Silverman. They receive frequent assistance with photography from Lee LaVallee and collaborate regularly with Dragon Hallow Smith's and Ant Hill Forge.
